Call for Resident Papers – COA’s 2025 Annual Meeting.
Hollywood Hills | May 1-4, 2025
  • More Resident Awards – 10+ Resident Papers will be winners.
  • A session just for residents
    • How to Win in Practice
    • How to Compare Private, Academic, and Employed Jobs in CA
    • How to adjust to life as Attending

 

When is this happening?
May 1-4, 2025 – Hilton Universal City, Los Angeles Area.
Papers will be presented on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

 

How Can You Participate?
Submit your paper to coa454@gmail.com no later than December 31, 2024. You can submit more than one paper.

Resident's awards will be:
  • Lloyd W. Taylor, MD Resident Award
  • Orthopaedic Institute for Children Resident Award
  • Clinical Awards
  • OREF Resident Award
  • J. Harold La Briola, MD Resident Award

 

Eligibility:
  • You must be a current Resident in a California Orthopaedic Program.
  • You must be a member of COA - just $25 - (the PAC is optional) https://coa.org/members/join-coa/
  • Papers submitted for consideration must be in CLINICAL RESEARCH only - no basic science papers will be accepted). You must submit the full paper and an abstract limited to 500 words.
  • The Clinical Research must have been performed during your residency and you must be the primary author.
  • Your paper can already have been presented or published.
