Funding to support research focused on reducing the detrimental impact of arthritis on Service members

The FY24 Defense Appropriations Act provides funding for the Arthritis Research Program (ATRP) to support research of high potential impact and exceptional scientific merit focused on reducing the detrimental impact of arthritis on Service members and their retention. Funding for the ATRP will be used to support research on all forms of arthritis. The managing agent for the anticipated funding opportunities is the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) at the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC).
